Boxing fans have been left divided as Mike Tyson training photos have been released ahead of his showdown with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul later this year.

The two stars were originally scheduled to go head-to-head in the ring back in July, but the boxing legend was forced to postpone his return to the ring after suffering from an inflamed ulcer. Tyson was forced to stop training on his doctor's orders, however, he has recently returned to training and has insisted he'll be ready to make the walk to the ring later this year.

The clash between the two big stars is set to take place on Friday, November 15 in Arlington, Texas at the AT&T Stadium in front of up to 90,000 fans. Tyson's last professional outing came in 2005 when he lost to Kevin McBride. His last bout took place in an exhibition against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr behind closed doors in 2020. As for Paul, the 27-year-old defeated former UFC fighter Mike Perry back in July in his last outing.

Many fans have questioned how seriously Tyson is taking the fight after a staggering admission. During his recent chat with Jimmy Kimmel, 'Iron Mike' claimed he was training six hours a day. "I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm," he said. Kimmel looked stunned and replied: "Oh no. 11am? So that's six hours straight, or is there a lunch break?" The former heavyweight champion admitted there was a small break as a shocked Kimmel gasped: "Oh no."

Now, training photos have been released ahead of the controversial clash in November, and the boxing community have been left split as to who they think will get their hand raised. There are a fair few who are confident that the 58-year-old will secure a sensational win, with one user saying: "Jake Paul is getting smoked." While another wrote: "Let's go, Mike! Bring back that prime Mike feeling where it's over in the first."

A third user wrote: "Rip to Jake Paul." A fourth posted: "Jake will lose this fight for sure." It's fair to say that Tyson's loyal fans will be desperate to see the former heavyweight world champion get the job done, however, with age on Paul's side, many are confident that 'The Problem Child' will secure a huge win later this year. "Jake Paul's gonna starch Tyson quick," one fan posted.

Another fan gave his honest prediction ahead of the contest, saying: " Mike Tyson is 58. We all know the monster he used to be but he’s still human. I hate it just as much as you do but Jake Paul will probably knock him out in a round. Tbh I kinda hope it ends that way too that way Mike gets his $ and leaves w/o too much extra brain damage." Another commented: "Jake Paul will knock out Mike Tyson. I think Paul is simply an average boxer, but an average boxer should always beat a great fighter 20 years past his prime."

While some fans are eagerly waiting for the bout, there are a select few who remain disinterested or are largely concerned for Tyson's health and wellbeing. "I thought this was cancelled. Mike should NOT fight anymore. It’s just dangerous," one account posted. One fan was once again quick to slam the contest, saying: "Dumbest fight of the century." Another posted: "No one is exited for this anymore."

Ahead of the fight, Netflix have confirmed that Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson will have a documentary series live on the popular streaming service. The first two episodes will be streamed on November 7, while the finale will be uploaded on November 12, three days before the two boxers are scheduled to go toe-to-toe in the ring.

I am of the opinion that Iron Mike will still eat Jake Paul’s children if he chooses to. Paul is the one I fear for in this fight, not Tyson. Age is not such a big deal. Let’s not forget George Foreman, shall we? Killer instinct does not have an expiration date. The youngster Paul will be humiliated…

Mike won’t win! He couldn’t secure wins in his 30s when it was easier for him to get into shape he’s in great shape for his age.
