Meghan Markle’s email rule for staff revealed after 'Duchess Difficult' nickname

After an explosive claim in bad faith was made by a former employee against Meghan Markle , more members of her staff have stepped forward to sing a different tune.

Meghan and Prince Harry are known for high staff turnover at their Archewell organization. Just last week, allegations emerged that Meghan "belittles people" and "doesn't take advice", earning her the nicknames "Duchess Difficult" and a "dictator in high heels." These claims were reported by the Hollywood Reporter , claiming that a high-ranking source was handing the verdict down.

“She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice,” a source claimed. “They’re both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently. Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he’s very much an enabler. And she’s just terrible.” However, now a myriad of employees have come forward with different opinions.

In fact, despite what one employee claimed to be a negative email, Meghan reportedly put into place an email rule among her staff, according to US Weekly . In one of her emails, Meghan reportedly wrote: “My working day may not be your working day. Please do not feel obliged to reply to this email outside your normal working hours.”

Plus, some clarity was offered by the dramatic exit of Harry's former chief of staff, Josh Kettler. After he left only three months ago, speculation erupted as to the reason. However, Josh reflected on his time with the team, saying: "They are dedicated and hardworking. It was impressive to witness."

Furthermore, Ashley Hansen, the Sussexes' global press secretary, opened up about the exceptional personal support she received from Meghan and Harry. She said: "Most profoundly to me, Meghan would personally reach out to my husband daily to make sure that we both were OK and had support. It meant so much to him and even more to me. You don't realise how much that kind of kindness and thought means until you need it."

Ben Browning, former head of content at Archewell, further praised the work environment, noting as “positive and supportive," adding, “We all continue to be friends. The narratives we’ve seen suggesting the contrary are untrue.”
