Keegan Bradley has vowed to take a lot of lessons from Team USA captain Jim Furyk when heading into the Ryder Cup next year, after winning the Presidents Cup for the U.S .

Bradley served as an assistant captain to Furyk as he prepares to lead Team USA when the Ryder Cup returns to Bethpage in 2025, and ended up clinching the winning point on Sunday. Bradley's impressive final round helped Team USA beat the International Team 18.5-11.5, making it 10 consecutive wins for the Americans over their opponents.

It's been some year for Bradley who was named Team USA's Ryder Cup captain in July and became their hero in the Presidents Cup after last competing in the competition a decade ago. Optimism is high ahead of the Ryder Cup, and Bradley showed respect to Furyk by claiming not much would change ahead of the competition next year.

"We're going to copy a lot of what Jim Furyk did this week," Bradley told NBC Sports. "He set a culture here for us and we are going to carry that over into Bethpage and I hope a lot of these 12 are on that team."

Bradley was emotional after clinching the winning putt, which came after Si Woo Kim put his attempt on the green wide of the hole. Bradley needed time to compose himself and come to terms with the achievement, before explaining how much that moment meant to him on what could be his final round as a player for Team USA.

"Wow, that was incredible," Bradley added. "I kept saying all week 'I didn't know if I'd ever get to do this again' and to just be able to play in this tournament and to win the point my goodness. The last time I played I was the point to lose the Ryder Cup.

"If this is my last round as a player, maybe it is, I'm happy with that." The 38-year-old veteran later claimed that he'd missed his team, and also reminded himself that he's capable of delivering in high-pressure moments.

"I missed the guys, they're just incredible," Bradley said. "They really love each other, the wives and the caddies love each other, it's such an amazing atmosphere. I'm just so proud of the team and I'm proud of just being here.

"I learned that I can still do this. It's always hard it always is, that was really uncomfortable there at the end but I'm proud of the way everyone played today."

Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay, Sahith Theegala, Sam Burns, Tony Finau, Brian Harman, Russell Henley, and Max Homa all celebrated the victory alongside Bradley. After experiencing a special win it could be a similar selection process for the Ryder Cup, although Bradley will need to replace himself for the competition.
