Despite her title as the Princess of Wales, Kate keeps life admirably normal behind palace doors, often cooking at home with her children. Back in 2019, during an official event, she shared that she enjoys preparing meals with her little ones, an everyday activity that seems surprisingly down-to-earth for someone destined to be Queen .

It's also been said that a quintessentially British dish, roasted chicken, is among Prince William's most cherished meals that Kate enjoys making for him . Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl revealed to Vanity Fair in 2012: "In the evenings she indulges her hobby of cooking William's favorite supper, roast chicken."

These insights from Vanity Fair hark back to the couple's early wedded days while they resided in the tranquil setting of Wales. Between 2010 and 2013, William's role as an RAF search and rescue pilot led them to call the Isle of Anglesey, or Ynys Mon, their home, reports the Express .

While roast chicken may be Prince William's go-to dish, the Royal Family is known to enjoy a variety of cuisines. During a 2018 visit to St Luke's Community Centre in London, Kate joined children in making pizzas and shared: "I've done that with George and Charlotte making pizza dough. They love it because they can get their hands messy."

The couple was promoting the Commonwealth Big Lunch project at the time, an international celebration encouraging people across member states to join together in community acts.

Like many Brits, the Prince and Princess of Wales also indulge in the occasional takeaway, with Indian or Chinese being top choices. In a 2017 interview with BBC Radio 1 host Scott Mills, Kate revealed her favorite to be curry, while William admitted he's "not so good with spice".

Even Queen Camilla, despite having access to world-class chefs and custom meals, enjoys the occasional takeaway. In an interview with her son Tom Parker Bowles for YOU Magazine, she revealed her favorite takeaway to be classic fish and chips.

She revealed: "Freshly cooked fish and chips, wrapped in paper. That smell. You cannot beat proper fish and chips."

Camilla's fondness for the classic dish appears to be shared with her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, who was also known to have a soft spot for fish and chips.

Back in the day, getting fish & chips was awesome. Used to be wrapped in newspaper. And, I don't think anyone died!
