Jeopardy! contestant stopped from 'dropping it down' on television

Jeopardy! fans found another player to love as Mike McComb shows off a quirky quizzing strength he has.

Mike explained to host Ken Jennings that he is undefeated at a special category at his local pub's trivia nights, but it has nothing to do with brain smarts . Instead, Mike said his pub incorporates dance-offs into their night, which is much different than Jeopardy! . "They only give prizes for the top two places, so if there's a tie for second place, they have a dance-off rather than a Q&A."

Naturally, Ken prodded further to see if there was a "go-to" move that Mike likes to use to secure a dance-off win. Unfortunately, Mike explained that he couldn't show the fans. He said: "I tend to drop it down to start and, yeah, so I can't really demonstrate it here because the podium's in the way."

While Mike might have won a chuckle or two, he did not emerge victorious in the game. On Oct. 1, the final Jeopardy! was, "The first British sitcom to win a Best Comedy Golden Globe, it was remade in a U.S. version that had almost 15 times as many episodes," under the "Sitcoms" category.

The correct answer was the beloved show "The Office," which two of the contestants guessed correctly. Brooke Levine went into the round with $600, risking it all and ending with $1,200. While Mike was in second place with $10,000 and didn't bet anything at all.

He lost out to Ryan Manton who had a sweet answer. Technically, he got the answer wrong, but not necessarily because he didn't know the answer. Instead, he took the opportunity to reiterate a message to his wife, writing, "I still love you Lauren." However, he didn't bet anything at all, meaning he didn't lose any dollars. This left him with $21,600 and winning the game.

Fans are getting an expansion to the Jeopardy! world which could indicate much more fun coming its way. The show now has a pop culture edition which will focus primarily on entertainment and celebrity categories rather than the traditional wide range of topics.
