Bold and the Beautiful fans question if Taylor is faking heart diagnosis for ulterior motive

The Bold and the Beautiful fans are questioning Dr. Taylor Hayes' (Rebecca Budig) heart diagonsis .

On the Wednesday, October 2 episode of the CBS soap show , Dr. Taylor and her ex, Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss) went to speak to a cardiologist. At first, Dr. Taylor did not want anyone to know that she was diagnosed with heart failure but after she collapsed while snooping at Ridge and his girlfriend, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) , she ended up telling him the truth.

The only reason why Dr. Taylor saw a doctor was for Ridge not to tell anything to their children, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

Because Taylor is a doctor herself, when the cardiologist explained to her that she wanted to run a series of tests to understand what was going on, she was hesitant about it. Dr. Taylor revealed that she understood her symptoms after her diagnosis and did not want to run any follow up tests at the time. She just wanted to spend as much time with her kids and grandchildren before it was her time to say goodbye.

Viewers at home instantly saw this as a red flag and questioned if Dr. Taylor was even sick or going to die. One user thought she might have an ulterior motive, writing: "#BoldandBeautiful is Taylor really sick or is she trying to get back in unstable Ridge's arms again?"

One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: "Taylor basically just jumped to conclusions based on her symptoms and didn’t get confirmation tests? Viewers have seen a plot like this before when Eric died after suffering from a terminal illness that included him coughing up blood and hand tremors. Fans said goodbye to Eric earlier this year after he passed away on the operating table. Like Dr. Taylor, Eric wanted to keep his sickness a secret.
