Russell Brand once fretted over his budding friendship with P Diddy, and was concerned that the rapper's influential nature might lead to an endless stream of favors. The pair hit it off while filming Get Him to the Greek in the late 2000s.

Reflecting on their relationship, Russell quipped: "Now, I like him - he's very influential - say that you don't want to do something and Diddy does want you to do it. It's really hard not to do that thing."

"It's a bit like the mindf-ing. He's very influential. Say, Diddy went, 'Could you pick me up for the airport?'"

"'I've just got back from holiday.' Or 'I'm going away, would you feed my fish?' You still do it because you think, 'Oh, Don't upset him. He's an influential person,'" Russell said.

He also joked about the potential pressure of being too close to Diddy: "Imagine if you get very friendly with him, he might ask you for loads of favors and then you can't say no, that's my worry. I've become friends with him now, what if he starts 'Pick us up from the airport,' 'Feed the fish,' 'Can I borrow your vacuum cleaner?' It's going to be pressure," reports the Daily Star .

In a twist, Russell even shared a tale of how Diddy once whisked him away on an impromptu trip to Vegas. A YouTube video from 2009 captures their escapade, with Diddy proclaiming: "We are on the plane right now on the way to Vegas."

"It's called, 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.' I'm here with my new best friend, right here: Rusty Rocket, also known as Russell Brand. Very, very very dear friend of mine. We go way back."

In a 2010 interview, the Brit reflected on the trip to Vegas and remarked: "He looked after me. He took me on an enforced holiday to Vegas. He's a very intense man because, I think, he comes from nothing and now he's very, very powerful. People that do stuff like that, they're intense."

Together, they featured in the 2010 hit movie Get Him to the Greek, which also starred renowned Hollywood actor Jonah Hill.

"Get him to the Greek" was a pretty funny movie. 🍿Sounds like Sean Combs would be a pretty intense friend. Russell gives a great explanation of it.

Ok Russell, we get the intensity, but you're a skinny white boy, the Diddlers type, & the question is, did u take it up the arse? If yes, did you get a reach around?
