Meghan Markle is set to earn "tens of millions" as publishers are said to be in a fierce competition for her eagerly awaited memoir , according to a source.

The Duchess of Sussex has long been speculated to be penning her own explosive tell-all book, following the success of Prince Harry's bestselling memoir Spare , which was published last year. A source has claimed Meghan has a "remarkable story" to tell but is patiently waiting for the ideal time to reveal her book.

They claimed: "The word in publishing circles is that everyone's mad to land Meghan's memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high. We're talking tens of millions for her authorized biography."

The source said Meghan won't be able to say no to some of the offers on the table. They also suggested the book will be a hit with fans as Meghan has "an insight into the royals that no one else can share."

Speaking to Closer magazine, the source further stated: "There's no doubt Meghan has a remarkable story, it's just a question of timing. She's strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace, but she absolutely wants to share her truth, and why shouldn't she when she's endured so much?"

They added: "Make no mistake, she will not be told what she can and cannot say, so when she decides that the time is right, she will write a very truthful and detailed memoir that will delve into every aspect of her journey."

Prince Harry's explosive memoir has sold more than 1.43 million copies in all formats across the United States, Canada, and Britain. The book offered fans an insight into life behind the palace walls.

The book detailed his childhood in the public eye as well as his experience with drugs in his older years. The Duke of Sussex also opened up about an explosive row he had with his brother William, during which the Prince of Wales allegedly called Harry's wife Meghan "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive". Harry claims his brother then "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor".

What in the world???? She's married a Prince, that warrants a memoir at age 42 or 43? How ridiculous.
