Jennifer Lopez 'taking a break from men' as she starts 'new chapter' amid Ben Affleck divorce

Jennifer Lopez is "finally ready to move on" from her marriage to Ben Affleck , according to a source.

The pair were married for just two years before J.Lo filed for divorce in August. As their relationship fell apart, Jennifer was left heartbroken and a source said she started to struggle .

"It really did a number on her," they claimed. However, weeks after the divorce filing , J.Lo is said to be getting over Ben and starting a new chapter in her life. The source said her friends and family have even "noticed a major shift".

Speaking to Life & Style Magazine , the source said J.Lo has had to "mourn her dreams of a happily-ever-after with Ben". The pair first started dating in 2002 and were due to get married, but they called off their wedding in 2003 before splitting for good a year later.

Speaking in 2022, J.Lo admitted it was the "biggest heartbreak of my life". The source said she was "grateful for a second chance" with Ben after they rekindled their romance in 2021.

Sadly, things fell apart again and J.Lo was left "so heartbroken", according to the source. Despite the pain of her relationship ending, Jennifer is looking ahead to the future.

The source explained: "She's determined to turn all this heartbreak into her superpower, to take ownership of any self-destruction and make changes." They said she has sworn to take a break from men for a year.

While the source admitted the changes are tough for J.Lo, they said she has a "new outlook on life" and is determined to stick to her resolutions. It's believed J.Lo's close friends have been encouraging this change and urging her to take a break from dating.

A source previously told The Daily Mail: "After four failed marriages, her friends feel that she should take a look inside and focus on herself instead of what others want her to be and finally figure out who she is and what she wants from her future."
