Victoria and David Beckham's new $80m Miami mansion compared to royal residence: It's 'like Beckingham Palace'

Victoria and David Beckham have reportedly splurged on a $80 million mansion in Miami, earning it the nickname the "new Beckingham Palace" - a clear reference to the royal residence, Buckingham Palace.

The celebrity duo divide their time between England and America , boasting an impressive portfolio of properties including a stunning $40 million townhouse in London's Holland Park, a charming $15 million cottage in the scenic Cotswolds, and a luxurious five-bedroom apartment in Miami, valued at $22 million. The Miami residence is crucial for David, the former Manchester United and England player, as he spends a significant amount of his time in the city due to his co-ownership of Major League Soccer club Inter Miami CF.

According to The Real Deal, Victoria and David have now upgraded their Miami base, shelling out $80 million for an exclusive waterfront mansion on Miami Beach. The newly completed 14,270-square-foot property features nine bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, a gym, a spa with a massage room, and a home cinema.

Additionally, the mansion boasts an infinity pool and a lavish outdoor living area, complete with a kitchen and lounge that offer breathtaking views of the Biscayne Bay from the expansive waterfront deck.

There's a rooftop lounge and space on the water for the couple to dock their $20 million yacht. Described as a "modern waterfront masterpiece" by realtors, the property is situated on North Bay Road, placing the Beckhams among A-list neighbors like Shakira, Cindy Crawford, Phil Collins, and Barry Gibb, reports the Mirror .

The spacious mansion is perfect for the Beckham clan, including Brooklyn Beckham, who resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Nicola Anne Peltz, and Romeo Beckham, who's diving into his modeling career. The family divides their time between the UK, where Victoria's fashion studio for her namesake brand is located in London, and the US, with daughter Harper, 13, attending prep school in South Kensington.

Developer Niklas de la Motte commissioned Bart Reines to construct the custom-built mansion, designed by Choeff Levy Fischman. Luxe Living Realty listed the property, which, as of Monday, was under a "pending" sale status.

David's increasing presence in Miami, due to his role with Inter Miami, has been crucial in introducing MLS to the city after extensive planning.

In addition to this home, Victoria and David own a five-bedroom unit in the Zaha Hadid-designed One Thousand Museum tower downtown, which cost them over $22 million. Despite their new purchase, there are no indications that they plan to sell this luxurious condo, as it remains off the market.
