The manager's name is not on any of the social media account for their talent business. They posted photos of Lucas and a series of Instagram Stories. The manager did not disclosed Lucas's cause of death but following posts has caused suicide speculation.

In a now-deleted caption, the manager had originally wrote, according to Music Times, a post that first sparked alarm from fans with "Check on your loved ones." The unnamed person continued their post with "Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you bro. My heart is ripped in half. Wait for me up there [prayer hands emoji]."

They followed up their deleted post with a second one which has also been erased: "Being your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here. There’s a hole in my heart right now, Lucas. We used to speak on our struggles all the time but smile for the fans. So many people hurt us again and again, but we had each other."

The manager went in to say they didn't "know what to do now" and that they felt "broken" by the news with the hashtags "#riplucascoly" and "#checkonyourfriends." The manager concluded the post writing, that he couldn't believe the late 27-year-old was gone and pleaded with God to " send him back here."

In one of their Stories, they told "anyone secretly and silently battling with depression" that he loved them and that others love them and cares "even if it seems like no one cares." The manager ended the post, declaring their message a sign for people to keep going. In the next Story, They asked not to be reached out to as they were in "mourning" and didn't want to answer any questions. Their most recent Story as of writing is a picture of their face with the words: "I want to be in heaven so badly."

This confirmation from Lucas' manager comes as the musical artist made a last post on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, October 2. He wrote the words "I love yall" with an orange heart emoji over a black background.

Fans took to the performer's page to express their disbelief and shock at the news: One fan wrote: "Omfg no this is breaking my heart so bad rn wtf." Another said: " We gone pray it’s fake news."
