A cherished television mom has offered her sage advice to Prince Harry as he returns to his wife Meghan Markle and their children after a brief stint in the UK.

TV legend Anne Diamond voiced her concerns for Harry's welfare and his standing within the royal household, imparting some motherly counsel and suggesting he should "keep your head down" as he goes back home.

During his visit for the WellChild awards in London, the Duke of Sussex was given a nugget of wisdom from Diamond, warning him against seeking "personal redemption or rehabilitation" through "grand gestures or dramatic declarations."

She also warned him about actions that might seem like a slight towards his father, King Charles, who is battling cancer. She recommended that Harry avoid "saying or doing anything that could be perceived as undermining" his dad, reports the Irish Star .

Despite recent tensions with the royal family following explosive interviews and revealing snippets from his 2023 memoir Spare, Harry and Meghan have been basking in positive media attention, with their trip to Columbia being hailed as a success. They are also gearing up for more Netflix projects.

In her piece for Express.co.uk, Diamond penned: "Sometimes, the best advice is simple and grounded. So, from one mother to another's child, here's my advice to Harry as he returns home: keep your head down."

Showing empathy for Harry's challenging situation, she pointed out: "Harry must understand that the path to personal redemption or rehabilitation-whatever he seeks-is not achieved overnight. It cannot be won through grand gestures or dramatic declarations. It takes time, humility, and a great deal of quiet reflection. Right now, more than anything, Harry needs to be humble."

"There is no need for him to arrive in Britain and make a spectacle of himself. The WellChild Awards are an opportunity to show compassion and empathy, not to become the center of attention. Harry must realize that in situations like these, his actions will speak louder than his words. Being gracious, being respectful, and being genuinely present for the children and families honored at the event will make a far greater impact than any headline-grabbing soundbite. This is a time to let the cause shine, not himself."

Currently living in Montecito, California, Harry has been making solo public appearances recently, such as attending a UN meeting in New York last month without Meghan. While a potential meeting with the King in the UK was quickly ruled out, Diamond commented on this relationship, stating: "His father is not only King of the United Kingdom but also a man who has just stepped into the monumental role of sovereign."

"That brings with it unimaginable pressure and responsibility. What Charles needs now, more than ever, is peace. He does not need more controversy, more drama, or more division within his family. Harry has to recognize that this is not the time to stir the pot. His presence in Britain, albeit brief, should be marked by respect for his father's position, for the crown, and, most importantly, for the fragile bonds of family that are still, by many accounts, very much under strain."

Harry was completely at ease and in high spirits at the WellChild presentation, chuckling heartily as seven year old Noah Nicholson cheekily tossed his toys on the floor, prompting Harry to collect them.

During the event, speaking to the young awardees and their families, the Duke warmly expressed: "Thank you for your courage, your perseverance, your kindness and of course your humor. And thank you for being you and uplifting all those around you. The WellChild Awards is an event that never fails to inspire me."

Warned. šŸ˜„šŸ˜„šŸ˜„ Harry is his own man. He doesn't answer to the institution so there is nothing warn him about. You continue to believe the UK is an empire. Harry doesn't live in that bubble anymore.
