The ever-engaged Princess of Wales, Kate , is not just royalty but also a down-to-earth mom who enjoys whipping up meals from scratch for her little royals: Prince George , Princess Charlotte , and Prince Louis. At 42, she's all about maintaining a sense of normalcy at their family kitchen table and has even shared her culinary preferences publicly.

The future Queen, during her visit on BBC Radio 1 alongside Prince William, s parked curiosity about their dinner plans resulting in some adorable banter where William asked, "Are you cooking? " leading to Kate revealing, "No, I think it will probably be a curry, won't it tonight? " Her go-to specialties include a mean curry or teriyaki salmon dish, ensuring the spices are just right because, as William confessed, he can't quite endure super spicy food.

But that's not all; the Duchess also clued in on her passion for Italian cuisine, with mac 'n' cheese being a particular family favorite . On an outing to Lavender Primary School, Matthew Kleiner-Mann was privy to Kate's anecdotes of cooking with her children picture this: one kiddo managing the flour while another adds in milk and butter, culminating in what sounds like the coziest homemade cheesy pasta, reports the Express .

According to Mr. Kleiner-Mann, Kate said: "They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff."

Kate, a hands-on mom, loves to whip up homemade pizza with the kids lending a hand. While chatting with Mary Berry, she revealed her kitchen adventures: "I really enjoy it. Actually one of the last things we cooked, together, was your pizza dough. We made pizzas with your pizza dough recipe...They absolutely loved it."
