There was a "triple stumper" on Jeopardy! tonight with all contestants not knowing the Final Jeopardy clue.

One-day champion Mark Fitzpatrick, a content manager from Riverside, Connecticut, faced off against Amanda Prusila, a communications advisor from Ottawa, Ontario, and Daniel Gately, a teacher from Tucson, Arizona, on Monday's episode of the trivia game show . Mark showed why he was a returning champion who defeated four-day champion Ryan Manton , when he dominated the game throughout.

At the beginning of the game , Mark answered eight clues correctly consecutively, including demolishing the entire NFL Team Addresses category. Before the first commercial, Mark took the lead with $6,000, while Amanda came in third with $2,400, and Daniel had negative $1,200. Daniel caught up and pulled himself from the red and ended up with $1,000, before they entered Double Jeopardy!. Mark had $6,800 and Amanda maintained her third place with $3,000.

But as the game continued into Double Jeopardy, Mark continued his reign and the distance became wider between him and the other two contestants. Before Final Jeopardy, the content manager had $23,000 while Daniel swapped places with Amanda with his amount of $4,200 to Amanda's $600.

The category for Final Jeopardy was Brand Names and the clue read: "In 1886 this brand’s bookkeeper came up with its name & flowing script logo, saying, 'the two Cs would look well in advertising.'" All three contestants guessed wrong, but Daniel and Amanda wagered nothing. Mark incorrectly guessed "Coco Chanel" like Amanda, but he wagered $3,400, taking him to $20,000. The answer was "What is Coca-Cola?"

But seeing that he already had a hefty total and still retained it, he won the game in comparison to Daniel and Amanda's final scores. Mark became a two-day champion with a total of $50,401. Amazed fans took to social media and were shocked that all three contestants got wrong what they considered to be an "easy" clue, a question that many said they even figured out.

On a Jeopardy! subreddit for the October 7 episode, one fan wrote: "FJ was so easy. I can't believe no one got it." A second fan said: "That final jeopardy was a triple stumper but I managed to guess right." Although, another fan could relate to being stumped like the contestants and wrote: "I initially thought coca cola but the clue threw me off because i thought the correct answer could only have 2 'C’s.'"

On X formerly Twitter, fans also expressed the same astonishment. One fan said: "Me screaming Coca Cola & smh that they all blew it." A second X fan penned: "Now how did me & my mom say the right answer but none of them didn’t??"
