New Mexico police are asking for the public's help finding a woman accused of removing her GPS monitoring device .

Last year Alexis Saenz, 21, was accused of the vehicular homicide of her girlfriend, 19-year-old Adeja Baca. Police said the couple were arguing in a car when Baca tried to exit the car. Saenz allegedly floored the gas, throwing Baca into the pavement, KRQE.com reported.

The 19-year-old died as a result of her injuries . Saenz was released earlier this year under conditions involving GPS monitoring.

She was due in court for a hearing on Oct. 4 but failed to show up and her GPS monitoring device was removed, according to police. She now has a warrant out for her arrest.

She is described as 5’3” tall, 118 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information on Saenz’s location is asked to contact Hobbs police at 575-397-9265.

HPD says that you can private message the Hobbs Police Department’s Facebook page, but to be aware that it is not monitored in real-time and is not a good avenue to report the real-time crime.
