If Nicki Minaj didn't realize her ex-boyfriend was in the crowd at her show, she sure performed like she knew.

The Queens rapper performed in Miami, Florida , at the Kaseya Center on Sunday as part of her Gag City Tour. Among the fans in attendance was rapper Safaree Samuels, Nicki's ex.

Safaree and Nicki dated for 12 years from 2002 to 2014. But the Super Bass crooner moved on and married Kenneth Petty in 2019.

During her song Super Freaky Girl, Nicki brought out Kenneth. She wore a magenta-colored wig, bodysuit, and knee high-heeled boots as she danced along to the track and gyrated on her husband.

Safaree was in the crowd watching - as shown by videos uploaded by fans on X, formally known as Twitter. In one video, he was rapping along to the track FTCU, and in another, he tells the camera: "I’m loving the Gag City Tour. Wassup?"

The star's ex was clad head-to-toe in denim. He donned distressed denim jeans and a matching vest.

Besides bringing her husband out during the show, Nicki made a speech that seemed pointed at Safaree. "The longer you stay with clowns, the longer you take to find your person," she said.

At one point, Safaree was seen surrounded by security guards and seemingly escorted out of the venue. "Get the f--k out!" one fan in the crowd can be heard screaming as Safaree calmly left and waved at a few fans in a video.

Nicki's fans were obviously not impressed with Safaree supporting his ex. "Showing up to your ex job is wild," one fan wrote.

"Safaree showing up and getting into with Nicki's fans is insane," another added: "They had to escort him out of the concert smj. Just let her be #GagCityMiami #GagCityReloaded."

But there appears to be no bad blood between the two. After the show, Safaree wrote on X: "I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud."
