Fans of Jeopardy! are up in arms about the latest Final Jeopardy answer.

On Tuesday's episode, three men squared off on the hit game show - Gino Montoya, an attorney from Albuquerque, New Mexico; Andrew Miller, an auto claims adjuster from Bristol, Connecticut; and Mark Fitzpatrick, a content manager from Riverside, Connecticut. Mark went into the game as a two-day champion, banking $50,401 so far.

Mark was in the lead going into Final Jeopardy. But when host Ken Jennings read out the clue, it puzzled the contestants and viewers at home.

The category was "world flags" and the clue read: "The 12 stars on its flag symbolize perfection, not geographic or political units." Answers from the contestants included Australia and just a question mark, with none of them able to get it.

Ken then revealed the answer wasn't a single country's flag, but instead the flag of the European Union. This final clue dropped Gino's score to zero, as he bet all his money; Andrew walked away with $4,183; and Mark was just able to win with a score of $7,599.

Fans at home fumed as they believed the clue was misleading. "That final jeopardy question was bullshit #Jeopardy," one fan wrote on Twitter, now known as X.

"How can I get my 1/2 hour back?" a second questioned while a third added: "What a lame Final Jeopardy clue. #jeopardy."

Another predicted the anger and commented: "Ooooh some people are gonna be p----d about the Final #Jeopardy ! tonight lmao."

On a Reddit thread for today's show, one user believed the clue wasn't worded correctly. "FJ answer today mentioned the 12 stars that symbolize perfection," they said, "This was wrong or idk misleading. 12 stars represent unity and integration."

Though Final Jeopardy was a hard one, it seemed like all the players enjoyed their time on the show. Andrew left a comment on the Reddit thread that said: "Andrew here! Haven’t watched yet but just want to say this was the best experience of my life."

He continued: "The crew on set was amazing; I’m visually impaired and they made helpful accommodations to the gameplay and were chill about me knocking stuff with my cane all day. These were definitely not my categories which made it easy to cope with the L knowing my opponents had played so well on such a challenging board. GG boys."
