Pete Davidson’s feud with Saturday Night Live co-star Colin Jost looks like it might cost him his spot on SNL indefinitely now that show executives have caught wind of the rift.

One source recently dished to The U.S. Sun Pete, who is also famously known for dating Kim Kardashian , won’t be appearing on the comedy sketch show to host or perform in skits anytime soon. The aforementioned insider claims that Lorne Michaels, SNL’s creator and producer, has become aware of Pete’s beef with Colin.

"Pete and Colin's falling out went all the way to the top and Lorne has been made aware of the situation,” the source told the news outlet.

"Despite Pete being invited to host in the past- it's not looking likely that the comedian will be invited back anytime soon,” they added. Although a close source is making this claim, a rep for the decades-long comedy program says there isn’t any “truth" to the claim that Pete is currently not invited back on the show.

In 2022, the Bodies, Bodies, Bodies star departed from SNL as a full-time cast member. However, in 2023, he returned to host the show’s premiere. Pete was supposed to host SNL on May 6, 2024, but the show was canceled as the series went on a hiatus due to the writer’s strike.

Even though the SNL season was delayed, when it returned the following season Pete debuted as host. At this point, Pete and Colin’s feud is pretty strong. The insider noted to the U.S. Sun that “something big happened,” resulting in the Weekend Update anchor refusing to be "in the same building, let alone the same room as Pete."

Additionally, the same insider claimed Colin "doesn't want to be associated with Pete." Another insider has mitigated the depth of Pete and Colin’s feud. According to the source, the two entertainers are just "busy" and "don't talk as much as they used to."

That insider added: "People move on, they work on other things, and other relationships, and they are just not as close to the people that they once worked with previously." Even though the insider claimed that Colin and Pete’s relationship wasn’t that strained, it didn’t seem like it last month.

Pete was absent when Staten Island Ferry was used as a floating entertainment venue for New York Fashion Week. While Pete was absent, Colin appeared at the Tommy Hilfiger fashion show on September 8.

At the event, he disclosed to People that buying the old ferry was "absolutely the dumbest and least thought-through purchase I’ve ever made in my life.”
