Butterbean has called for a fight with 'Iron Mike' Mike Tyson and has insisted he would knock out the former heavyweight champion of the world.

Real name Eric Esch, the 58-year-old is desperate for one more fight in the sport of boxing and has claimed that he would be the perfect dancer partner for Tyson . This comes despite the fact that 'Iron Mike' is currently preparing for his showdown with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - which is scheduled to take place on November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas.

Tyson, who will be 58 when he faces the young American next month, hasn't had a professional fight since 2005 - when he lost to Kevin McBride. He was last seen in the ring four years ago when he faced Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition contest. Meanwhile, Paul has been very much active in the sport and was last seen back in July. 'The Problem Child' secured a devastating knockout against former UFC welterweight contender Mike Perry.

  • Since 2022, Esch has lost over 200lbs and currently weighs 290lbs. Following his remarkable transformation, the American is still hoping for a bout with Tyson. Speaking to AL.com, the 58-year-old said: “He’s a bully. His chin would be right there for the taking. I would knock Mike Tyson out.” He added: “I saw Mike about three weeks ago, and he looked pregnant. I would knock him out. He has no chin. The problem with those who have lost to Tyson is they didn’t challenge him.”

Butterbean's comments have further sparked fears for Tyson's health ahead of the fight. The boxing legend was originally supposed to face Paul back in July, however, 'Iron Mike' was forced to pull out of the contest because of an ulcer flare up.

Esch has also been vocal about wanting to face Paul as well. The American has called out 'The Problem Child' online several times with hopes of sharing the ring with the youngster. Earlier this year, Butterbean took to social media to offer the 27-year-old a winner-takes-all scrap. "Hey Jake Paul, would you fight me for $2m? Winner takes all," he said.

Back in August, after getting no response from Paul, Butterbean took to social media once again and revealed that he was still waiting to hear about his $2m mega fight proposition. In a video uploaded, the 58-year-old was seen hitting the heavy bag before addressing the camera. He asked: "Jake Paul, what you waiting on? Are we gonna do this or what?"

In the same month, Esch went on to dub the showdown between Paul and Tyson a "scam'' in a heated rant at the Georgia Pop and Horror Con. Speaking during a Q&A session, he claimed: "Him and Tyson are never going to fight. That has been a scam from the very beginning just to boost Jake's name - and it has!

"This guy, everybody's talking about him. But he's never going to fight Tyson. They were never planning on fighting each other, because a promoter would never let him fight anyone else in between a fight. Never - not that big a fight. So, it's been a scam from the beginning."
