Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been a pillar of support for her former Friends co-star Matt LeBlanc after the devastating loss of Matthew Perry. Perry, who was just 54, passed away last October, leaving his on-screen buddy LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani in the beloved series, deeply affected.

Sources close to the situation reveal that Aniston, known for her role as Rachel Green, has been in constant touch with LeBlanc, offering her support during this tough time. There's talk that Aniston feels some remorse for not being more present for Perry before his untimely death .

Courteney Cox, also part of the Friends ensemble as Monica Geller, is said to be lending a hand as well. Heat Magazine reports an insider sharing, "Watching Matt struggle has been extremely difficult for Jen. She's been spending a lot of time with Matt at his home in Pacific Palisades - cooking for him, or just hanging out and watching movies, or sitting and chatting."

The source also mentioned that Jennifer has stayed over at times, ensuring that either she or Courteney is available to "keep an eye" on him.

LeBlanc has previously referred to his Friends castmates, which also include David Schwimmer as Ross Geller and Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, as "family." The insider further detailed how Perry's passing has taken a toll on LeBlanc, impacting his personal life, eating habits, and even his professional commitments, reports the Mirror .

Sources reveal that Jennifer is stepping up to support Perry posthumously. "She's [Jennifer] taken it upon herself to connect Matt with some therapists and get her trainer to his house - she's insisted that he need to start working out and do everything he can to boost his mental health."

The insider emphasized that Jen is completely focused on helping her late friend climb out of a dark place, aiming to rehabilitate his mental and physical well-being.

This information follows the development where a doctor linked to Perry's death pled guilty in federal court after striking an agreement with the prosecution team. Expressing deep regret over the situation, Dr. Mark Chavez, 54, a practitioner from San Diego, acknowledged conspiracy to distribute ketamine at a plea hearing earlier this month.

Chavez's confession marks him as the third individual to be indicted in connection with Perry's demise. Outside the courthouse in Los Angeles, following the proceedings, Chavez's attorney, Mr Binninger, told the press that his client deeply regrets his involvement.

He stated: "[Chavez has] accepted responsibility, plead guilty, admitted a lot of facts on record, he's cooperating with the government, he has already started the process of surrendering his medical licence. He is taking this incredibly seriously."

The entertainment world reels as news breaks that Matthew Perry was found dead at age 54 in his California home, succumbing to "the acute effects of ketamine." Reports indicate the star had been grappling with depression and anxiety and developed an addiction to intravenous ketamine.

Adding a somber twist, it was disclosed in August that five individuals are facing charges related to his untimely passing.
