A General Hospital favorite is set to return after 11 years.

Scott Reeves will be returning to Port Charles and is set to appear in several episodes starting Thursday, October 24. He will reprise his role as Steven Webber, whom he previously played from 2009 to 2013.

Scott told TV Insider that going back to the General Hospital set felt familiar and "it was like coming home." He said: "I got to work the first day and it was early in the morning. It was just so weird driving up to Prospect [Studios] and going through the guard gate. Literally, from the moment I drove in, I was like, ‘Wasn’t it just a week ago that I left and I was pulling out of here?’"

He also said that entering the studio brought back memories.

Scott said: “I started walking down the halls and it was so surreal and strange because it did not feel like more than a week to a month had gone by. There were so many things that were the same yet so many things had changed. So much life has happened in the past 11 years for everybody, and with the passage of time, we lose people, the faces change, so that was bittersweet."

He was welcomed by a familiar face, Rick Hearst, who plays Ric Lansing. Scott admitted that the two remained close friends over the years. It was hard for him to not think of those in the cast and crew that passed away, like producer Nneka Garland, Sonya Eddy, who played, Epiphany Johnson, and Tyler Christopher Baker, who played Nikolas Cassadine.

Scott spoke about how stepping back to the role "was like riding a bike." His character did his time in prison and was residing in Sedona, Arizona, living a new life. After killing a comatose patient who was a murderer in order to save a child, Steven lost his medical license.

The majority of Scott's off-screen time was spent with pal Steve Burton, who made a comeback to General Hospital in March. They met and worked on Days of Our Lives, beginning in 1998.

It’s gone off the rails, so many storylines going on and many left undone, who killed Austin? They never addressed that, by the way sonny will get away with murder
