Jessie J's Los Angeles home has been burglarized, with thieves making off with over $20,000 worth of jewelry. The British singer , whose real name is Jessica Cornish, divides her time between the UK and the US. She was living in LA with her longtime partner, basketball player Chanan Safir Colman, and their son Sky, who was born in May last year.

According to TMZ, the Price Tag singer is the latest celebrity to be targeted by a criminal gang focusing on high-profile individuals in Southern California . Jessie alerted the police on Thursday when she returned to her home to find it had been broken into and over $20,000 worth of jewelry stolen.

The burglars gained access to the property by breaking a rear window. Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made in relation to the robbery, but investigations are ongoing.

Recently, Jessie has been globetrotting for a series of performances and was in the UK in August for Manchester Pride and a gig at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, which she promoted on Instagram. Jessie isn't the first celebrity to fall prey to this criminal gang; Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson's $26 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades was also burgled earlier this summer.

TMZ reports that the Oscar-winning actor's cliffside home was burgled while he was away. The security alarm went off when thieves broke through a glass window of a guest house on the property, reports the Mirror .

Other celebrities, including Modern Family's Sarah Hyland and comedian Marlon Wayans, have also been victims of this gang, who seem to be targeting A-list celebrities in Los Angeles who are out of town. Sarah, 33, spotted the intruders on her home security cameras while she was away with her husband, Wells Adams.

She informed the police that she was alerted to the burglary while miles away from her property. According to TMZ, she told the police that she was notified of someone breaking the glass on one of her windows in broad daylight, and watched as two masked men left her home.

Investigations are still underway, and it has not been confirmed if anything was stolen from the star's property.

Comedian and actor Marlon, famed for his roles in hits like the Scary Movie series and White Chicks, had a message for any would-be burglars after his home was hit in July. Taking to Instagram with a video, he humorously pointed out that he's probably the least profitable celebrity to rob since he doesn't have many valuables.

"I want you to know that they didn't really get much because I don't own s--t. The most valuable thing in my house is my house. So, unless you're gonna put that s--t on a truck and drag it away, then, yeah, man, you did well, but I don't own s--t. I don't wear jewelry. This [ring] is fake. ... It's a heart rate monitor. I'm not flashy. No jewelry. No necklaces. I don't have cash. I use credit cards," he joked.
