Eminem's pregnant daughter Hailie reveals gender of first baby as he prepares to become grandfather

Self-proclaimed rap God Eminem will soon be a grandfather, and his daughter Hailie Jade Scott recently revealed the gender of her child that’s on the way with her husband Evan McClintock.

Hailie and her hubby had a mini-gender reveal on Friday’s episode of her podcast Just A Little Shady as they popped a balloon that poured at blue confetti. Although she and Evan are bringing a son into this world, Hailie still plans to take her son shopping with her. Well at least on Target runs.

The Real Slim Shady rapper announced that his daughter was welcoming a child in a new music video for his song Temporary, which features Skylar Grey.

In the video, there were photos and home videos of Hailie as a child with her famous dad. Additionally, there was footage of Hailie before she walked down the aisle to her future husband. Shown in the video was Eminem’s emotional vulnerability when he saw Hailie in her dress for the first time.

The most heartfelt part of the video was when the rapper was seen sitting on the outside steps with Hailie next to him. Hailie then handed him a folded hockey jersey, which he then opened, showing to the camera that the top reads “Grandpa” on the back. After that, Hailie gave Eminem a photo of the sonogram.

Em looked shocked as he showed the photo to the camera, including a close-up photo of the sonogram in the video. The photo then has footage of Hailie and Eminem’s father-daughter dance, a home video where a toddler Hailie swears, along with a card that she gave to Eminem that was signed with her nickname "Bean."

This will be Hailie and Evan’s first kid together. The married couple began dating in 2016, and got engaged in February. Their wedding ceremony was in Battle Creek, Michigan at the Greencrest Manor where friends and family were in attendance.

Hailie grew up in Detroit, Michigan, with her parents Eminem and Kim Scott, who were married from 1999 to 2001 and then again in 2006. However, they divorced the same year they remarried. Hailie went to Chippewa Valley High School and then attended Michigan State University and got a degree in psychology.

Although Eminem has many fans who love his music, Hailie has previously admitted that she has trouble listening to some of her father's hit songs. Particularly, his song Mockingbird, which goes into detail about addiction, custody battles, and more issues that arose during Hailie's childhood.
