Taylor Swift's army of fans have unearthed a post from Caitlin Clark welcoming the pop superstar to the Kansas City Chiefs "kingdom" - as they turned their ire on Angel Reese following her interview with Travis Kelce's ex.

The conversation between the Chicago Sky power forward and influencer Kayla Nicole has proven a viral sensation as she opened up on her former romance with the NFL player. The internet celebrity and model was in a relationship with the three-time Super Bowl champion for five years.

After the pair called it a day in 2022, she has finally spoken about her experiences of dating a household name as she admitted to her personal struggles with online trolls. Her comments did not earn her much sympathy from certain sections of Swift's fanbase, though, with some of the singer's enthusiasts having subsequently been critical of her and Reese on social media.

  • Now, the "Swifties" have found a post from the Sky starlet's rival Clark from September of last year as she spoke positively about the chart-topper's romance with Chiefs star Kelce. A lifelong KC fan, the WNBA Rookie of the Year said: "Taylor Swift welcome to the good side," alongside the hashtag: "Chiefs Kingdom."

Nicole had said the following of her romance with Kelce while appearing on ' Unapologetically Angel ': "We’ve seen each other in public spaces before, but it’s — I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation that there’s just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy.

"I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos doesn’t impact me. It does, even to this day. You can go to my most recent post, and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless, and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career."

Meanwhile, Reese has spoken openly about abuse she has received in the past, as she opened up on hurtful comments she has received from fans of Clark. "I think it's really just the fans, her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans, that are really just, they ride for her, and I respect that, respectfully. But sometimes it's very disrespectful. I think there's a lot of racism when it comes to it.

"I don’t believe in her heart that she has hatred towards me and I’m sure she believes that I don’t have hatred towards her," she continued, as she spoke of her respect for the Indiana Fever ace.

"Basketball is literally a game. We have so much fun with it. But when it comes to death threats, when it comes to people finding — like I’m talking about people have come down to my address, followed me home, like, it’s come down to that."
