Authorities said the family of missing Gabby Reno of Louisiana, who was last seen in California , believe her boyfriend was the sender of the last communications they exchanged with Gabby last month.

According to reports, Gabby's sister, Savannah, did not hear from the missing woman , but she did schedule a visit for the first week of September 2024. It was revealed to officials that Gabby, whose government name is Alexis, was seeing a man named Jay, whom the family didn't know well but thought was controlling. The family reportedly thought Jay was the sender of the last communications they exchanged with Gabby, which was on August 23, 2024.

Savannah, through a post on Facebook, alleged that Jay negatively influenced Gabby before she had gone missing.

"I haven’t spoken much publicly about my sister missing. I feel like I need to address some factual information missing from posts floating around. Gabby has been with Jarrett Gautreau for about 2 years. This relationship isn’t new and after factual information from dependable resources, Jarrett’s family, he is an addict," she wrote.

"I was in California several times this summer and lastly in mid August. My attempts to see her failed unfortunately. She has NOT had a job in a long while. It hurts me to make this post but want you all to know how much it means to my family and I knowing how many people are sharing, praying and showing concern for my sister. Keep praying!"

A 53-year-old California woman who had disappeared from her house Oct. 10 was discovered dead on the highway in what authorities believe to be a hit-and-run. The woman, identified by authorities as Lisa Culp of San Bernardino County, reportedly left her Chino home early on October 4.

According to a Chino Police Department news release, her husband then reported her missing at 9:13 a.m. that same morning. In addition to scouring local jails, hospitals, and parks, police reportedly contacted Culp's friends and family.

Officers found her 2010 silver Mercedes automobile abandoned at a gas station close to the Central Avenue exit off the 60 Freeway, which was the first concerning discovery. "Chino Police personnel reviewed surveillance footage from the area and observed Culp walking away from the gas station in the early morning hours of October 4 and heading northbound on Central Avenue," police said.

Police kept searching the area, including local hotels, but they were unsuccessful. When police discovered additional security footage of Culp the following day, on Saturday, October 5, they decided to use "drones, off-highway vehicles, and officers on foot" to broaden their search.

Stupid news app is always doing this crap, combining two separate incidents into one article, which leads to confusion for their readers.😡The woman mentioned at the end of the article who was killed in a hit and run in San Bernardino County is from California and is no relation to, and has nothing to do with, the headline and this article of the woman from Louisiana who went to California and is now missing.
