Melissa McCarthy made a bold appearance in shining armor as she continues to show off her weight loss on Good Morning America.
The Life of the Party star appeared on Good Morning America since reportedly losing up to 75 pounds . She showcased her slimmed down figure while promoting her new podcast that she made with husband Ben Falcone titled Hildy the Barback and the Lake of Fire.
"Our girls are in this show, and Glenn Close, but not at the same time..." Ben teased. "It's such a fun group of people and we get to chase dragons!" Melissa added.
This isn't the first time Melissa has mentioned the podcast. She shared a video wearing similar garb earlier this month.
She captioned the footage: "We are so excited to birth our new dragon baby! We made Hildy the Barback and the Lake of Fire because we wanted to laugh with our funny, talented friends – we’re so happy we did. We hope you love it as much as we do! Melissa has faced Ozempic accusations amid the recent Hollywood craze. The actress posted a picture of her wearing a pastel dress as she walked hand-in-hand with her husband. Barbra Streisand left a bold comment on the post. "Give him my regards did you take Ozempic? " Barbra queried in a comment that has since been deleted.
Barbra apologized for the comment in an Instagram story. She wrote: "OMG - I went on Instagram to see the photos we'd posted of the beautiful flowers I'd received for my birthday! Below them was a photo of my friend Melissa McCarthy who I sang with on my Encore album. She looked fantastic! I just wanted to pay her a compliment. I forgot the world is reading!"
Melissa has not spoken out on the Ozempic claims. However, she has discussed major weight loss diets that she has subscribed to in the past. In 2003, she dropped 70 pounds while filming for Gilmore Girls due while trying a liquid diet. However, she vowed to never try that diet again.
She told PEOPLE : "I'd never do that again. I felt starved and crazy half the time."
She has admitted that her weight has fluctuated over the years but she no longer cares
"I've been every size in the world. Parts of my twenties, I was in great shape, but I didn't appreciate it. If I was a 6 or an 8, I thought, 'Why aren't I a 2 or a 4?'" she has previously told UsWeekly. "Now I feel like I have two great kids and the dreamiest husband on the planet, and everything else is just a work in progress."
