General Hospital fans predict Lulu Spencer's liver donor's identity as her brother Lucky is ruled out

There's a chance that Lulu Spencer won't disappear from the General Hospital plot quite yet.

During Monday's episode, a breakthrough discovery gave hope to her future life. As she continues to struggle with liver failure, it appears that she's finally found a transplant match. However, the show hasn't revealed who will be her potential donor just yet.

Soap opera fans are scrambling to put the pieces together. Initially, the characters were hoping that it would be her brother, Lucky, who could provide her with a liver, but that didn't work out. Many thought that Lucky providing his organ would help wash his hands of his past criminal indiscretions.

But with the news that Lucky won't be much help, fans pointed their hopes to Sam McCall, wondering on X, formerly known as Twitter, if she could make a perfect match. However, their theory only deepened as one wondered, "What if Sam is a match but dies during surgery?"

"Well, Sam’s gonna die on way or another…I say make it spicy & compelling. Dont know if dying in the OR is spicy or compelling, but whatever happens…it’s happening," responded one fan, noting Kelly Monaco's expected departure from the show.

It looks like before Kelly leaves, her character might be given more of an opportunity to leave a major impact. An insider told Soap Opera Network that Kelly was "blindsided" by the decision from the network. However, there was no indication that her departure was a death as the exit plans are still pretty unknown.

Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri, who doesn't know that a donor is on the way, is struggling to emotionally handle Lulu's diagnosis. He said: "Lulu's not doing well. Rocco and I go and sit by her bedside every day and pray for a miracle. I used to think how amazing it will be when I get to tell him the good news, that his mother's better and she's coming back to us. And now all I'm able to think about is how I'm going to have to tell him bad news and she didn't make it and in the same breath I'm going to have to tell him he's never going to see his grandfather again because he's going away for a long time."

U idiotic writers need to know that a 4 yr coma patient does not look fluffy & doesn't have atrophy of her arms & legs.....!!patients are skin & bone withdrawn into a fetal position so, if u want to play real, then get u a skinny person.....face will be totally sunk in.....no fluff

Stop showing this picture of the original Lulu! She hasn't been in the role for a long time and is not the Lulu who will, with a bit of help, be coming out of a coma!!!
