Michael Strahan and Terry Bradshaw lose it as FOX NFL Sunday colleague 'forgets' show's script

Jimmy Johnson caused his FOX Sports NFL Sunday cohosts to have a laughing attack as he attempted to break down each of the day’s matchups.

With Los Angeles Rams star quarterback Matthew Stafford in the studio as a guest analyst, Johnson, Howie Long, Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw and Michael Strahan were discussing the Atlanta Falcons matchup against the Carolina Panthers. After Stafford gave his opinion on the game, Bradshaw commended the Rams star for his quick analysis and ability to speak when pressured.

Bradshaw joked that Stafford should replace him after he called it quits, to which the crew shared a hearty laugh. Then it was Johnson’s turn to talk about the next matchup and called to mind the New Orleans Saints .

The only issue was that the next game up was the Los Angeles Chargers taking on the Denver Broncos . Almost immediately, Long proclaimed, “You forgot!” as Bradshaw, Menefee, and Strahan all began laughing at Johnson’s faux pas.

As his cohosts chuckled around him, Johnson continued to explain the breakdown between the two teams. Once the 81-year-old finished his review of the game, Strahan declared that it was “the craziest segment” the studio had had in a “long time.”

And while that was just one segment of the many that were played that day, another featuring Bradshaw took center stage. As the group discussed the latest news around the league, the 76-year-old was asked about the New England Patriots’ decision to bench veteran Jacoby Brissett for Drake Maye , the rookie.

Bradshaw was very clear on what he thought about the Patriots’ move, stating: “It’s a terrible move. Brissett was doing everything he could to keep that thing going. That’s a horrible offensive line. The one key word there is pressure.”

To fully illustrate his point, Bradshaw took a page out of one of the most famous rock bands of all time: Queen. “Freddie Mercury of Queen, remember the song?” he pondered to his fellow cohosts .

“Pressure! Coming down… you remember the song? Drake Maye will be under pressure. This is a bad move. Five different offensive line combinations already, and your starting center, [David] Andrews, has been out. This is a terrible idea. Jacoby Brissett deserves to keep starting and let that kid sit.”

While Bradshaw’s point might have been worth noting, his cohosts were more interested in the NFL legend’s singing chops. “When you went through that in the mirror last night, did it come off better?” Long ribbed Bradshaw.

“Howie, you’re not going to believe this. I just came up with that. Right here, on live television,” Bradshaw responded. Strahan, for his part, was amazed the 76-year-old still was able to think quickly on his feet.

“The way your brain thinks blows us all away,” Strahan admitted.
