UFC icon Chael Sonnen has urged Mike Tyson to accept Jake Paul's $5million fight wager ahead of their boxing clash next month.

"The Problem Child" has proposed a hefty bet to the boxing legend , contingent on the 58-year-old surviving past the fourth round. In a TikTok video posted on his gambling site, Betr, Paul is seen lounging shirtless on a couch, piling money on his faux belly.

"Mikey, Mikey, if you can last more than four rounds with me, I'll give you an extra $5 million,'' Paul declared. However, there was a slight catch in the American's proposition. Paul disclosed that if Tyson couldn't endure more than four rounds, then the seasoned boxer would need a permanent memento of his loss to the young contender. He added: "But, if you don't, then you have to get a tattoo that says I love Jake Paul. Deal or no deal?"

So far, Tyson's team hasn't responded to the astonishing bet. The face-off between the two boxing celebrities is set for November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. The decision to proceed with the bout has been widely criticized, particularly after Tyson had to withdraw from the original date in July due to an ulcer flare-up.

Amidst the buzz surrounding the upcoming heavyweight bout, former UFC title contender Sonnen has thrown in his two cents, urging Tyson to accept a peculiar wager. On his YouTube channel, the 47-year-old shared: "Jake Paul has offered Mike Tyson a bet. The bet goes like this, 'Mike I will give you $5million if you make it to the fifth round.' So you've got to survive four, just so you guys understand. But, if you don't, you got to get a 'I love Jake Paul tattoo.'

"Oh my gosh, what do you make of that guys? That made my stomach uncomfortable. By the way, I love it and I hate it so much that it made my stomach uncomfortable."

"I mean, how's that for an answer, right? How's that for a non response by me. But it's true. There's a part of it that looks at it and goes 'Mike, you can't turn that down.

"We need to know Mike that you believe in Mike. We need to know that you're out there to beat this man, to damage this man, to stop this man, like old, ferocious Mike Tyson would do. We've got to know that it's not a cash grab."

He added: "The other side... things are very much in Mike Tyson's favour. I know a number of you think that Mike's gonna win. A number of you think that he is gonna stop him. He doesn't have to do any of those things. He's gotta get to the fifth round. He could be beaten to a pulp. He's just got to make it to the fifth round. There's nothing short of remotely humiliating about that (the tattoo)."

Tyson's last professional match was in 2005, where he faced a fifth-round defeat against Irishman Kevin McBride. However, he did return to the ring four years ago for an exhibition showdown with Roy Jones Jr.

On the other hand, Paul, 27, made his debut in 2020 and has since been a sensation in the sport, defeating big names like Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. His only loss in boxing was on points against Tommy Fury last year.
