    Nick Jonas flees stage mid-performance as audience member points laser at him during Prague concert

    Nick Jonas was seen scrambling in a hurry at his show with his brother's last night .

    The Jonas Brothers had a show at the O2 Arena in Prague on October 15 for their World Tour . Footage of the incident came out on social media and has been circulating around. In the footage, the singer is seen running down the stairs and off the stage making a "time out" hand gesture as he ran. Nick had a laser pointed at him which caused him to run.

    A representative for the O2 Arena in the capital of Czechia confirmed to the Variety the reason and that the show was paused for several minutes after the situation.

    "We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person," the venue's spokesperson told the outlet. "The organizing service responded to this fact. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance."

    Based on a Portuguese fan page of the band on X formerly Twitter, they stated that they boys came back on stage and performed BB Good from their third studio album called A Little Bit Longer. Fans responded to the video expressing their relief as well as gratitude that Nick, Joe, Kevin and the audience were okay. They also stressed the scariness of the situation and related to the 32-year-old's actions.

    One fan wrote: "So glad the boys and fans at the show are okay! Holy moly!!" A second fan shared the same sentiment with: "Glad everything was okay! So scary" Another said: "I hate this. It’s terrifying. You can see how scared and concerned he was. It was almost as if he couldn’t run off the stage fast enough. I’m so genuinely thankful that everyone is safe. But I think checking bags/security check at every venue needs to be taken more seriously." A fourth fan wrote:" This is so scary. Your mind goes to the worst thing so I don't blame him for running off at all. Better to be safe."

    Nick and his brothers are currently playing the rescheduled European portion of the their global tour called Five Albums, One Night. They are concluding the European leg with their Wednesday, October 16, show in Krakow, Poland.
