Police are reportedly hunting for the dealer responsible after white residue and drug paraphernalia were discovered inside Liam Payne's destroyed hotel room ahead of his tragic death.

The 31-year-old singer met his harrowing end during a Buenos Aires holiday with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy after falling from the third floor of a hotel. Ahead of the distressing incident, hotel employees frantically tried to contact emergency services over worries for Paynes safety shortly before. According to a preliminary autopsy report , Liam passed away from "multiple traumas" that caused both "internal and external bleeding."

As the world continues to grieve the former One Direction star, cops are probing for who is responsible for supplying the slew of drugs found inside of his deluxe suite at the Casa Sur hotel. Upon investigation police discovered a shattered television screen, white powder residue, a piece of scrunched-up burnt aluminum foil, and a burnt soda can.

The white powder residue is being tested to confirm suspicions it could be cocaine, according to La Nacion . Next to the broken television screen - which was presumably smashed with a hefty object or punched - there was also an empty glass of champagne and another discarded glass. In addition to this, a bottle of whiskey, a lighter, and a phone that could've potentially belonged to Liam were also found at the scene, all bearing his fingerprints.

As for non-illegal drugs, Clonazepam was discovered inside of Liam's room which is a a benzodiazepine medication used for the acute treatment of panic disorder, epilepsy, and nonconvulsive status epilepticus. In addition to this, there were also energy drinks and other over-the-counter medications discovered.

This comes as the pop singer has previously opened up about his struggles with addiction which first began while he was in the boyband One Direction alongside Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan. Liam said in 2021 that during the early days of One Direction that he "didn't like myself very much" and that life with the band was filled with "booze and pills" and "moments of suicidal ideation."

In a newly released 911 call, one hotel employee shared their concerns for the singer. During the call, the person said: “Well, we have a guest who is off his head on drugs and alcohol. And well, when he is conscious he is destroying everything in the room. And well, we need you to send someone, please.”

The 911 responder asked: “Under the effects of alcohol and drugs, did you say sir?” to which the hotel manager confirmed it was "correct." He continued: "We need you to send someone urgently because, well, I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger. They must be in a room that has a balcony. And well, we’re a little bit worried he’ll do something, that he’ll put his life at risk."
