Michigan police said they formally arrested and charged the man who dialed 911 and confessed to operators that he shot and killed his wife before dumping her corpse into the trash .

Jacob Fisher, 38, was arraigned Tuesday on the charge of open murder for the slaying of his wife 29-year-old Dainara. The shooting occurred Monday around 5:30 p.m. at a home in the 1200 block of Stover Road in Arenac Township. Jacob called 911 shortly after he shot his wife in the head, admitting to the murder while speaking to operators.

Jacob subsequently dragged his wife's body to the couple's driveway and dumped her in a garbage bin. Authorities later found Dainara's body, bearing a bloody gunshot wound to the head, mixed in with the garbage. Five children were said to have been inside the house when the murder transpired, investigators said.

The Michigan State Police Crime Lab and a detective from the State Police West Branch Post were called in, following the removal of the expectedly traumatized children, to start kick off an investigation.

The murder weapon was also found inside the residence. Police say the motive is unclear. Jacob remained jailed in Arenac County following arraignment and was not granted bond. He's due back in court October 29.

The bloodbath has rocked the community, especially those who have a connection to the Fishers. "My children have these children in their classrooms. This has affected more of the community then people understand," wrote one Facebook user. "I am so sad for the children I met them all. My kids are devastated and crying for the children. We need to make sure all the children are safe ....the entire community is gonna feel this. But those children Oh those poor babies. My heart absolutely breaks for them"

"Glad the police apprehended him and protected those children from worse damage. This is so so sad. Heart goes out to all involved and especially those poor kids. Rip Dainara," mourned another.

Apparent friends of Dainara implied online the pair had a history of violent arguments. One user, commenting under a post by the Arenac County Sheriff's Department, scolded officials. She insinuated that Dainara went to the police for help but was ignored. "How many times did she cry out for y’all’s protection? Seriously I wanna know. How many times did she beg for yall TO DO YOUR JOB," the user wrote.

Other commenters focused their attention on the loss of the 29-year-old. "Dainara Fisher went to high school with me. She will be miss by HUNDREDS of people. She has touched so many lives and I wish i had known what was going on. I would have flown out to help her and so would have everyone else she knew. She was so loved she will forever be missed and loved."
