Grandma says she died and took 11-minute trip to the afterlife receiving haunting eight-word message

A great- grandmother has recounted an extraordinary tale of dying and journeying through the afterlife before returning with a divine message .

Charlotte Holmes visited her doctor for a routine heart check-up in September 2019, but the visit took a dramatic turn when her blood pressure skyrocketed, prompting warnings of an imminent heart attack or stroke.

According to her, this event triggered an 11-minute excursion into what many Christians believe is the afterlife. Medical professionals were reportedly astounded when Mrs. Holmes, from Wichita, Kansas, was declared clinically dead, breaking the usual five-minute rule for confirming death.

Her partner, Danny, shared their harrowing experience with The 700 Club on the Christian Broadcasting Network, as reported by the Daily Star. Recalling the tense moments, he said: "Immediately, they call this code and everybody started rushing in. They just started working on her and I thought 'Well, I'm wondering if I'm even going to be able to bring her home.'."

He also described how she began speaking about unseen presences, which he believes is undeniable evidence that she had crossed into another realm.

Mrs. Holmes herself described the experience: "I was above my body. I could see them doing chest compressions. I could see them, all the nurses around. I could smell the most beautiful flowers I've ever smelled. And then I heard music.", reports the Mirror .

She recounts that the next thing she knew, she was in heaven, a place of "no fear" but "only joy". She elaborated: "I saw my mum. I saw my dad. I saw my sister. I saw family members standing behind. I saw saints of old. They didn't look old. They didn't look sick. None of them wore glasses."

Behind her mother, she noticed a bright light, adding: "I knew it was my Heavenly Father." Things took a darker turn when "God took me to the edge of Hell".

She went on: "I looked down and the smell - rotten flesh - that's what it smelled like. And screams. After seeing the beauty of Heaven, the contrast of seeing Hell is almost unbearable."

Then, she alleges that God told her: "He says, 'I show you this to tell you if some of them do not change their ways, this is where they shall reside.' I heard my Father say, 'You have time to go back and share.'". The grandmother claims to have made a full recovery and after two weeks of observation was released from hospital.
