Kylie Jenner slammed by critics as she models 'tacky and cheap' Khy outfits

Kylie Jenner has divided fans with the release of her latest Khy collection .

The 27-year-old Kardashians star took to Instagram on Thursday to give fans a look inside her latest release . In the pictures, Kylie was seen modeling a red puffer jacket as she wore a matching top and leggings. She also revealed fans can buy the look in two other colors - pink or khaki green.

Kylie captioned her post: "Just dropped: new @khy puffers & base layers khy.com." While some fans have rushed out to buy the new outfits , others have slammed the looks.

Sharing Kylie's post on Reddit, one person fumed: "Its nothing more than a red puffer jacket - NO MATTER how many POSES and PICTURES she takes of herself wearing it - its a PLAIN RED JACKET."

Others agreed with the criticism, with one person claiming: "Old navy is selling something v similar for like 20 bucks." Another said: "She makes everything look tacky and cheap."

A third critic wrote: "Looks like the jackets sold at Target for kids. I don’t think they have the red color though. Go away Kylie," while another disappointed fan commented: "What a waste . They go through so much material things."

However, Kylie was defended by fans on Instagram. "This drop is everything," one person wrote. Another gushed: "Love this red jacket on you!! @kyliejenner."

Someone else agreed: "Dying over the red!!!!" A fourth fan commented: "I want to buy ur puffers so bad."

Kylie first launched her clothing brand Khy in October last year, with the first products being made available that November. Kylie previously spoke to Elle about her dreams for her fashion brand.

She said she hopes to make Khy accessible, with sizes going up to 4X and the products costing less than $200. Kylie explained: "The size range wasn’t even a thought or discussion — it was a mandatory thing for my line to be inclusive.

"My whole goal for the brand is to collaborate with amazing designers and also do collections that are independently designed and make great fashion pieces accessible for everybody. Being under-$200 for our first drop was always something we had in mind that was really important. How do we make the best stuff that feels so luxurious and looks amazing that everyone can experience?"
