Will the Central Valley have another heat wave?

“It looks like we will see another warm-up mid to late next week,” Hand said.

As the Central Valley gets closer to the start of fall, she said the region is less likely to experience any major heat events.

“But they can and have happened before in the month of September,” Hand said. “We just always encourage people to keep an eye on the forecast.”
