At approximately 2:48 p.mm Monday, Oct. 7, deputies were dispatched to the 2500 block of North Monroe Street in Frenchtown Township to search for the patient. After an extensive search of the block, which included the sheriff's office drone unit and a K9 unit, the patient was found by Deputy Danny Greenwood and his police service dog, Arlo, who had tracked him north to a fence line along a lawn care business several hundred yards from the facility.

Frenchtown Township Fire Department and Monroe Community Ambulance responded to the scene and assisted with providing medical care to the patient. He was then transported to Promedica Monroe Hospital for further treatment and is expected to recover from minor injuries.
