    FCS Kickoff: Street closures, parking info for Saturday's game

    The FCS Kickoff brings college football action to Montgomery's Cramton Bowl on Saturday, and with it comes traffic changes.

    On Wednesday, Montgomery announced street closings for this weekend:

    • Madison Avenue will be closed from Hilliard Street to Hall Street starting at about 10 p.m. Friday.
    • Madison Avenue will be closed from South Jackson Street to South Capitol Parkway starting at 6 a.m. Saturday until about 11 p.m.
    • Hall Street will be closed from Madison Avenue to Adams Avenue starting at 6 a.m. Saturday morning until about 11 p.m.
    • Hall Street will be one-way traffic going north prior to the game, and switch to going south at halftime of the game.

    Game parking near the stadium will be available in Lots J and K, next to Patterson Field across the street from Cramton Bowl. Parking in these lots is $20. Cash will not be accepted. Passes must be pre-purchased at https://prod5.agileticketing.net/websales/pages/ticketsearchcriteria.aspx .

    According to the city, parking will also be available at any of the free parking decks in the city, including the RSA Tower, RSA Union, RSA Capitol and the City’s Intermodal Decks. Shuttle services will be available on a downtown route. Shuttles will begin running at 8 a.m. on game day and end an hour and a half after the game ends.

    FCS Kickoff, the first game of the college season, will bring the University of North Alabama and Southeast Missouri State to Montgomery for this ESPN televised game. Kickoff is at 6 p.m., but fans should arrive early. Madison Avenue will be the stadium's entry point at Gate 5 and Gate 7. On their way in to the stadium, fans will go through a security checkpoint.
