A woman has been charged with three counts of arson after three Montgomery properties caught fire Wednesday, authorities say.

Montgomery Fire Rescue units responded to a structure fire Wednesday evening at 5160 Missildine Circle. Ladona Missildine, co-owner of the property, was the only person inside the building at the time of the fire, Assistant Fire Chief S.L. Cooper said.

There were two more fires at adjacent structures, 5148 and 5136 Missildine Circle, after the first one.

Montgomery Fire/Rescue personnel allegedly witnessed Missildine inside one structure while it was on fire, Cooper said. She is being charged with three counts of arson 2nd degree for intentionally starting fires in three unoccupied buildings.

Missildine was taken by MPD to the Montgomery County Jail. Captain T.D. Eades is the case agent and will remain the case agent through the duration of the case, Cooper said.

More: One dead and one injured in fire Saturday evening
