Auburn football schedule: Dates, times, TV channels for 2024 season

Auburn football kicks off its 2024 season four days from now vs. Alabama A&M, and the Tigers are looking to do so by flipping the switch from last season's sour ending.

The Tigers struggled in their first year of the Huge Freeze era, ending with a 6-7 overall record and a fifth-place finish in the SEC West Division at 3-5.

Led by second-year starting quarterback Payton Thorne, Auburn was projected to finish in the middle of the pack of the SEC, coming in at No. 10 in the conference's preseason poll last month. Thorne threw for 1,755 passing yards with 16 touchdowns in his first season at Auburn after transferring from Michigan State.

Auburn opens up SEC play on Saturday, Sept. 21 at home vs. Arkansas. The Iron Bowl vs. Alabama will take place in Tuscaloosa this season at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 30.
