EPC girls lacrosse: Pleasant Valley wins third straight title

Pleasant Valley opened up an early 5-0 lead and maintained its advantage throughout Tuesday’s EPC championship game against Emmaus to capture its third straight crown with a 9-4 win at Northampton.

The Bears kept the Green Hornets at bay, leading 6-1 after two quarters and 8-3 heading into the fourth quarter.

Alivia Rath had two goals and three assists to lead Pleasant Valley, which showed its depth with Rylee Rath, EPC MVP Devon Bush and Olivia Iandoli all contributing a pair of goals.

Abygail Borger had six saves for the Bears..

Abby DiComes had two goals for Emmaus and Melea Weber had a goal and an assist.

Alani Shotwell registered nine saves for the Green Hornets.
