Tractor-trailer crash delays traffic on Route 22 in Northampton County

A disabled tractor-trailer is causing traffic delays on Route 22 in Northampton County.

The crash happened about 12:50 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near the Nazareth Pike exit in Bethlehem Township, according to 511pa.com , PennDOT’s traffic website.

Trooper Nathan Branosky, a state police spokesman, said the driver suffered a medical emergency, and that the tractor-trailer has been removed. A lane was closed, but it has since been opened. Residual delays remain.
