CareerLink Lehigh Valley to host ‘job huts.’ Find out where and when

For those looking for a job, PA CareerLink Lehigh Valley will be hosting “job huts” over the next few weeks in Easton, Allentown and Bethlehem.

As part of PA CareerLink Awareness Days, the job huts will showcase Lehigh Valley employers and available jobs. CareerLink staff will be on hand to help job seekers.

“Now is the time to come to the aid of your own career,” said Nancy Dischinat, executive director of the Workforce Board Lehigh Valley. “Stop by any of our PA CareerLink Workforce Centers or join us at Job Huts to get on the right path. We make job search easy. Let us help you get on a career pathway that provides a payday.”

Those who visit a job hut will also receive a free Payday candy bar.

Job huts will be set up at the following locations and dates:

• Crayola Experience, 30 Centre Square, Easton, Aug. 27-28.
• Lehigh Carbon Community College’s Donley Center, 718 Hamilton St., Allentown, Sept. 3.
• Da Vinci Science Center, 815 Hamilton St., Allentown, Sept. 4.
• Northampton County Community College’s Fowler Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem, Sept. 10.
• Bitty and Beau’s Coffee, 74 W. Broad St., Bethlehem, Sept. 11.

The job huts will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CareerLink Lehigh Valley satellite Workforce Centers located at LCCC Donley Center, 718 Hamilton Street, Allentown and at St. Luke’s Sacred Heart Campus, 325 N. Fifth St., Allentown, are also serving job seekers.
