Roll out the barrel, and you’ll get a barrel of fun.

That’s the promise from a Lehigh Valley winery regarding its new Easton location coming this fall, according to its Facebook page .

“It’ll be a place for people to come and gather and relax, and really reconnect and bring the community together,” co-owner Julie Rockhill said.

Stone Farm Cellars and Vineyard will open its second location, Stone Farm Cellar 46, at 46 Centre Square on Oct. 3.

Julie and her husband Roger opened the original winery in Upper Saucon Township in 2022 . It offers wines, beers, bourbon, sangrias and slushies as its drinks, according to the website . Food options include charcuterie boards, cheeses, chips and dip, pizzas, salads and desserts.

The Rockhills said that aside from the warm food like pizzas, Stone Farm Cellar 46 would offer the same menu items.

With a tasting room and rentable space for small gatherings, it’ll also allow organizations to visit for meetings and fundraising.

    The operating hours will be noon-6 p.m. on Monday, noon-8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. It’ll be closed Tuesdays.

Roger Rockhill said that while it’s too early to know specifics, they plan to open other new locations as well.

“We’re having a lot of fun along the way,” he said.

New luxury streetwear store to open in Allentown

Cindy Crawford, Whitney Houston, Madonna, N.W.A., Robert De Niro — a new Allentown clothing store hopes to evoke the style and feeling of these celebrities and more when it opens later this month.

“It’s truly an experience, coming to the store, I would say,” owner and Allentown resident Megan Colon said.

The store, jone(s), is a luxury streetwear store that will open at 17. S. Ninth St. in Allentown on Aug. 31.

It will sell all-ages, unisex casual clothing such as shirts, shorts, shoes and jackets, as well as items such as fragrances and candles.

“The brands will really speak to anyone from any background just because our world is so opened up now that I feel like we all like a lot of the same things,” Colon said. “It doesn’t matter what neighborhood you grew up in or where you live now or what you do.”

Colon added that part of what makes jone(s) unique is how many of its brands, such as MALIN+GOETZ, Honor The Gift and Chrome Hearts, aren’t readily available in the Lehigh Valley.

Another unique quality is the store’s prioritizing of customer service, she said, such as by offering beverages to shopping residents and limiting patrons inside to two small groups to focus on them.

“We’re trying to fill that void of when somebody … [doesn’t] feel like ordering clothes online and they want that actual in-person experience, they can come see us here,” Colon said.

Haaz’s, located at 3217 Schoenersville Road, is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the week, according to its Facebook page .

Additional menu items include platters with lamb or falafel, gyros, burritos, fries, milkshakes and cheesecake.

Representatives for the restaurant couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

The California-based restaurant chain Burgerim previously occupied the property and closed last May .

    Easton brewery announces closure

The Böser Geist Brewing Company in Easton offers a beer called “Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Just Drink the Beer.”

“Premium malts, German hops, Kolsch yeast … Shoot, a fella’ could have a pretty good weekend in Easton with all that stuff,” the online menu’s description of the beer read.

The brew pub will soon pour its last drinks when it closes after seven years of business, but the attitude remains: Don’t worry, drink the beer.

“It hasn’t been an easy decision to make, but it’s for the best and it sets up a path for the next steps!” the brew pub posted on Facebook Friday .

Regarding why Böser Geist is closing in the next few weeks, the Facebook post said the brew pub has “had some battles in recent months that are just too hard to ignore and/or overcome which puts us into the situation that we’ve had to make.”

Despite the closure, the business’s future is uncertain, as the staff on Facebook said, “You haven’t seen the last of us by far …”

The Facebook post thanked patrons for their business and encouraged them to visit before the end of the month.

“We love you all!” the Facebook post stated.

Representatives for Böser Geist couldn’t immediately be reached for comment. It’s unknown when exactly the brew pub will close.

Böser Geist originally opened in 2017 at 1250 Simon Blvd., at Easton’s redeveloped Simon Silk Mill.

Along with various beers and frozen drinks , the menu included wings, burgers, tacos, salads and pierogis.
