    Lehigh Valley high school football roundup: Easton and Freedom dominate, Salisbury beats Wilson, and Emmaus takes care of business

    Here is a roundup of Friday night’s top Lehigh Valley high school football games in Week 3.

    Easton 51, Northeast 7

    Cole Ordway started a wild night of scoring for Easton with a 61-yard touchdown pass. Ordway’s second touchdown pass of the night went for 33 yards, and then his third touchdown pass of the night was a 27-yarder to make it 21-0 in the first quarter.

    Easton’s Dorian Thomas’ three-yard run made it 28-0, still in the first. Northeast did get on the board in the second, but it was all Easton the rest of the way.

    Ordway threw his fourth touchdown of the night, and all four went to Jasir Frutchey. It was 42-7 Easton, and then a Will Day sack in the end zone made it 44-7. The Red Rovers added one more score on their way to a dominant victory over the Philadelphia school.

    Freedom 49, Allentown Central Catholic 15

    Chase Walker scored on a one-yard Brotherly Shove to give Freedom a 7-0 lead. Walker then found Amare DuBoise for a 62-yard bomb to extend the lead to 14-0. A 30-yard run from Aaron Beete made it 21-0. Freedom went up 35-0 after Walker found Jelani Fedrick for a 43-yard score and then Shacre Colwell for a 25-yard touchdown.

    In the second half, a Rodney Vazquez 44-yard interception put Freedom up 42-0 at the end of the third. In the fourth quarter, Jahaire Hughes scored from 24 yards out, and Freedom led 49-0. Central Catholic would score two late touchdowns, but Freedom cruised to a 49-15 victory.

    Salisbury 28, Wilson 0

    Salisbury took a 7-0 lead after Andrew Lucas found Caleb Gonzalez for a 10-yard touchdown pass. Salisbury extended its lead to 14-0 after Lucas threw a 16-yard score to Jaminni Cruz. Jason St. Leger made it 21-0 after a three-yard run heading into the half.

    Salisbury went up 28-0 in the third quarter after Lucas found Cruz for a seven-yard score. Salisbury’s defense would hold strong the rest of the game, and they walked away with the shutout win.

    Emmaus 38, Reading 7

    The Green Hornets’ Will Buck got the game going with a field goal to make it 3-0. Jerek Cooper found Ty Jefferson to make it 10-0 Emmaus. Reilly Bechtel punched it in from 9 yards out, and the Green Hornets led 17-0 in the first quarter. Javier Santos’ 26-yard touchdown run gave Emmaus a 24-0 lead at the half. The Green Hornets didn’t slow down as Cooper found Daniel Duggan to make it 31-0. Neo Michel extended the Green Hornets’ lead to 38-0. Reading was able to get on the board in the third quarter, but Emmaus walked away with a 2-0 record after a 38-7 victory.

    Saucon Valley 63, Palmerton 7

    Braden Rohn connected with Andrew Gilbert to give Saucon an early 7-0 lead. Jameson Trainer tied the game at 7 on a three-yard touchdown run. Jaren Rohn scored from 20 yards out to give Saucon a 14-7 lead. Rohn’s second touchdown pass of the night made it 21-7. Rohn found Gilbert again, this time for a 41-yard touchdown, and Saucon led 28-7. Jack Robertson extended Saucon’s lead to 35-7, and another Jared Rohn touchdown made it 42-7.

    A pick-six by Parker Skoda gave Saucon a 49-7 lead, and the Panthers ran away with the victory.
