A recent Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts graduate who missed her own graduation to audition for NBC’s “The Voice” got her chance to sing on the show Tuesday night, turning in a four-chair turn performance.

Shye Roberts , 17, who graduated in the spring is the second graduate of the school to appear on the musical competition show, according to a social media post from the school .

“Congratulations to Shye Roberts (Class of 2024) for knocking it out of the park on tonight’s episode of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ with a four chair turn! BRAVO!!! We look forward to watching your journey as you work on the team of Michael Buble! We will be cheering!” the post reads in part.

During her blind audition performance, the Bethlehem resident sang “Superman,” by Five For Fighting, which prompted all four judges’ chairs to turn. The Glen Cove, New York, native said on the show that she missed her high school graduation to audition for the show.

During her introduction video she was shown walking by the SteelStacks campus in south Bethlehem.

All four judges spoke highly of Roberts’ voice. Roberts, a rock collector, gave all the judges individual rocks before choosing to join singer Michael Bublé’s team.

“I love your voice, you have this wonderful range,” Buble said.

The Voice , now in its 26th season, airs at 8 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
