Crash on Route 412 in Bethlehem cleared

Update: The crash has been cleared.

Reported earlier: An overturned dump truck is delaying traffic Friday morning along Route 412 in Bethlehem.

Trooper Nathan Branosky, a state police spokesperson, said the truck carrying dirt crashed on Route 412 near the Interstate 78 ramp. The westbound I-78 exit to Route 412 is closed. Branosky said about 10:45 a.m. that it would reopen in about two hours.

PennDOT’s traffic website 511pa.com reported the crash about 10:15 a.m. All lanes are closed in the area. PennDOT estimates the crash will be cleared by 2 p.m.
