As a host on the Black carpet , I needed the perfect look for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards . I needed a wig that looked as good as the celebrities I would be interviewing without spending the same coin. That’s when I remembered Unice had sent me their new Magic Lace Wig to try. Perfect timing.

I’m not a wig amateur, but I know my strengths. Even Ayra Starr complimented my look on the carpet, reassuring me this wig is budget-friendly and fab! The way this hair was bouncing and behaving and serving a bit of yaki texture, it was a standout as I walked to my place on the carpet.

My VMAs look required me to cut bangs into my wig, which is a commitment I would have felt more stressful about until I realized, I could easily detach and swap out the closure for another look as soon as I was done. And I did.
