Chile Safaree is trying his best to get his child support reduced. Currently, the former ex boyfriend of rap ledger Nicki ninja, is paying his baby mother monthly child support. According to his and Mena’s divorce settlement, they reportedly agreed to share custody of their children. Additionally, Samuels agreed to pay Mena $4,305 in monthly child support. He is now claiming that he no longer makes the money he use to due to Erica’s online antics . In a petition filed in Georgia this past June, Safaree explained that the original child support agreement was based on his income of $61,157 per month and Mena’s income of $41,289 per month. He is now asking the court to consider his revised financial situation, claiming that the existing arrangement is no longer sustainable. He is calming that her internet shenanigans have caused him to lose deals and stopped him for making new deals. In the past, Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels’ relationship has been turbulent, especially as portrayed on Love & Hip Hop and across social media. Their marriage, which began in 2019, was marred by accusations of infidelity, public arguments, and personal attacks online. The couple often aired their grievances in public, escalating their disputes and drawing intense media attention. Their divorce was finalized in 2022, with Safaree being ordered to pay $4,305 a month in child support. Mena has accused Safaree of neglecting his responsibilities as a father, including leaving bills unpaid on their parenting app. Safaree has denied some of the allegations, but the public disputes have continued, amplifying the tension between them.

It seems that Safaree has recently been spotted at Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 event, where rumors suggest he may have spent $7K on a ticket. Given the high price, some are questioning his financial priorities. If Safaree can afford to shell out thousands to see his ex-girlfriend perform, critics argue that he should have no problem keeping up with his child support payments.
This situation adds fuel to the ongoing public disputes between him and Erica Mena, who has accused Safaree of being inconsistent with both financial support and his involvement in their children’s lives. In a since-deleted post, Mena shared a calendar screenshot that suggested Safaree had only seen their children 16 times this year. She used this as ammunition to question his commitment as a father, writing, “Imagine trying to detect child support from your BM (when that’s all they get from you since he skips out on birthdays and Christmas by choice) and you’ve only seen your kids 16 times this whole year so far.”Erica Mena has yet to publicly respond to the specific accusations of abuse, but in her initial post, she emphasized that Safaree is not involved in their children’s lives as much as he claims. While she removed the post shortly after publishing it, her words have circulated widely on social media, drawing support from fans who sympathize with her situation as a single mother.
