It's hard to walk into Costco without spending a good amount of money. A single purchase might cost you $30, $40, or more, depending on what bulk item you're buying.

But these Costco products could be yours for $20 or less this month. So you may want to stock up before it's too late.

    1. Kleenex Trusted Care Facial Tissue, 2-ply, 230-count, 10-pack

Tissues aren't the sexiest purchase, but they're a necessity throughout the year, whether it's during allergy season or when a nasty cold hits.

Costco is currently selling a 10-pack of Kleenex tissue boxes for $19.99 online, which is $5 off the usual price. And if you go to your local Costco club, you'll probably pay a bit less. It's good to load up on tissues ahead of flu season, and you might as well save money in the process.

    2. Kirkland Signature Ultra Clean Free & Clear HE Liquid Laundry Detergent, 146 loads, 194 fl oz

Laundry is one of those inevitable tasks we all face. And if you do a lot of it, then it pays to stock up on detergent while it's on sale.

Normally, a bulk container of Kirkland Signature Ultra Clean Free & Clear HE Liquid Laundry Detergent costs $19.99 online, which is enough to cover 146 loads. But Costco is knocking $3.60 off the online price, so you'll spend even less. This particular detergent is a good option for people with sensitive skin who need a dye-free, scent-free wash.

    3. Kirkland Signature Colombian Cold Brew Coffee, 11 fl oz, 12-count

A cold brew coffee from your local neighborhood shop might easily cost you $5 -- and then you have to leave the house to get it. A better bet? Pick up a 12-pack of Kirkland Signature Colombian Cold Brew Coffee.

You'll pay $18.99 online, or possibly less at the store. That brings your cost per one-can serving to about $1.58, which is way less than what a place like Starbucks will charge you.

    4. Kind Mini Bars, Variety Pack, 0.7 oz, 36-count

Kind bars are granola bars' less sugary cousin. They're loaded with nuts for protein, and they're gluten free for those who need that option.

Now, you could buy a box of full-sized Kind bars, but sometimes, you want a smaller snack. Or, you might want something smaller for your kids. This 36-count of miniature-sized bars fits the bill. And right now, Costco is shaving $5.60 off of the online price so it's only $15.39.

    5. Frito Lay Classic Mix, 1 oz, Variety Pack, 54-count

If you have kids, then you probably go through your fair share of chip bags. And now that school is either back in session or about to start back up, you probably need to restock on snacks that your kids can grab and go.

This case of Frito Lay snacks is a chip-lover's dream. You'll enjoy a mix of classics like Doritos, Cheetos, and Fritos. And while you'll normally pay $23.49 online, thanks to a limited-time $5 discount, you're only looking at $18.49. That brings your cost per bag of chips to just $0.34.

It's a myth that you have to spend a lot of money on each item at Costco. There are plenty of deals to be had for $20 or less. If you're on a tight budget , it pays to browse the site or work your way carefully through the store to see what's available.
