Sure, a lot of folks like to shop for Kirkland Signature items at Costco for the savings . But many of us like Kirkland for more than the price -- some of the stuff is just downright good.

Interested in giving some new Kirkland items a try? Here are a few products worth a look.

    1. Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Pretzels

What's salty, sweet, and more addictive than doom scrolling social media? That's right -- these crunchy, peanut butter–filled delights.

Not only are they almost criminally tasty, but they're darned affordable -- especially compared to picking up a tiny container at the local grocery store. Costco charged just $10.92 (Instacart price) for a massive (or, you know, perfectly reasonable amount to demolish in a long weekend...) 55-ounce tub.

    2. Kirkland Signature Organic Dried Mangos

These tropical treasures are arguably Reddit's favorite Kirkland snack, with one user calling them "fruit crack cocaine," and another user saying they "can't even buy it anymore" because it's just too good.

It's not the cheapest snack on the list -- I'm seeing $20.76 for the 2.5lb bag on Instacart -- but if you want to scratch that fruity itch, it's definitely worth a taste.

    3. Kirkland Signature Yakisoba Stir Fry

I'm a pretty decent cook, but it's not because I like to cook -- I just like to eat. So I'm a big fan of meal kits that make home cooking much easier, especially on busy weeknights.

This Kirkland kit takes a lot of the pain out of stir fry, giving you everything from the noodles and sauce to pre-chopped vegetables and meat. All you need to do is throw everything in a pan to get a tasty dinner on the table.

(I will note that if you're at all concerned about sodium intake, then definitely tread lightly with the sauce. Also, online reviewers suggest getting a good sear on the vegetables before adding the noodles!)

    4. Kirkland Signature Aller-Tec

The only thing worse than having to take allergy medication every day? Having to pay out the (sniffly) nose for it.

Costco's off-brand Aller-Tec has the same exact active ingredient as Zyrtec -- at a tiny fraction of the price. Right now, you can get 365 tablets for just $14.49 on Costco.com. That's less than a third of what you'd pay for 120 Zyrtec tablets from Costco , let alone a grocer or regular pharmacy.

In other words: If you take Zyrtec every day, you could pay for a Costco membership in allergy medicine savings alone .

    5. Costco Wholesale Unisex Logo Crewneck Sweatshirt

The nights are already starting to cool where I live, so it's time to start thinking about long sleeves again. And what better way to kick off another autumn season than with this high-fashion Costco sweatshirt?

(Alright, so this isn't technically a "Kirkland" item, per se, but c'mon.)

Right now, Costco.com has a full range of sizes in both black and grey. They'll run you just $21.99 each, and yes, shipping and handling is included!

Trying something new without breaking the bank

The downside to Costco is that a lot of stuff is in bulk, so if you try something new, you're in store for a lot of it. This can be tricky if you wind up not liking it.

On the plus side, Costco's prices are so good that you rarely need to bust your budget to give something a try. Besides, if it's truly terrible, you can always take advantage of Costco's awesome return policy. It even works for food items (though most reports suggest you can't return food that's more than half eaten).
